子供の時、マンガが大好きでした。
When I was a child, I really liked manga.

たくさんアメリカのコミックと日本のマンガを読みました。
I read a lot of American comics, and Japanese manga.

私はお金もありませんでした。だから図書館に行って数時間読みました。
I didn't have any money. Thus, I went to the library for a few hours to read.

代(かわ)りに、お兄さんがコミックを買いに行きました。
Alternatively, my brother went to buy comics.

あとで、私は仕事をしてちょっとお金をかせぎましたから、じぶんでマンガを買いました。Later on because I worked and earned some money, I bought myself manga.

「子連れ狼」や「らんま1/2」や「バットマン」や「Groo」というコミックとマンガでした。Comics and manga like, ”Lone Wolf and cub",  "Ranma 1/2",  "Batman",  and "Groo".

一度、(私は)マンガ「らんま1/2」を大学にもっていって、じゅぎょう中に読みました。
 Once, I took "Ranma 1/2" into my college classroom to read.

「らんま1/2」はとてもおかしすぎました。私は笑い泣きしました。
"Ranma 1/2" were too funny. I was laughing in tears.

学生と先生はじろじろ見ていましたが、私は笑い泣きを止められませんでした。
Students and teacher we're staring at me, and I can't stop myself from laughing.

このごろ、もう一度、「らんま1/2」を読みたいです。
These days, I want to read "Ranma 1/2" again.

日本で初めてのけいけん (The first experience in Japan) ---- ジナ

切(turn-off), 入(turn-on), 一時停止(temporary halt)

洗濯(sentaku, laundry）

アパートに来た時、服を洗う事はあまり考えていませんでした。When I first came to Japan, I didn't even think about cleaning my clothes.

日本に来た後、すぐスーパーに行って、食べ物やふつうの石けんなどを買いました。
 After I came to Japan, I went to a store and I bought food and sops.

しかし、服を洗おうとした時、洗濯機にいろいろ分からない漢字が書いてありました。However, Wen I went to wash my clothes, on the washer, there were a lot of Kanjis that I didn't understand.

ルームメートたちが出かけていったので、こまりました。As my roommates were out, I was in a fix.

水位(water level),行程(process),注水(pouring water),脱水(spin-drying)

でも、先生にイメールを送って、やくしてもらいました。However, I sent an email to my teacher and she translated it for me.

洗濯のし方(かた)が 分かるようになりました。I was able to understand how to clean my laundry.

それから、ルームメートたちが かえった時、「どうやって洗濯しますか？」と聞きました。After that, when my roommates came home, I asked them how they did their luandry.

ルームメートたちは もう 長いあいだ日本に住んでいるのに、洗濯のし方(かた)が分かりませんでした。Even though they had been in Japan for a long time, they did not know how to do their laundry.

きっと、男の人でしたから。。Probably because they were guys.
