私の町 (My Hometown) ーー ケルシー

私の町は　グレイドスプリングです。My hometown is Glade Spring.

グレイドスプリングはアメリカのバージニアに　あります。Glade Spring is in Virginia, in America.

とても、ちいさいです。It is very small.

２０００にん　くらいの 人がいます。 It has about 2,000 people.　

きせつが４つ　あります。 It has 4 seasons　

てんきは なつ　とても　あつくて、ふゆ　とても　さむいです。The weather is very hot in summer, and very cold in winter.

Southern Food

たべものの　名前は　”南のたべもの” です。おいしいです。 The food is called “Southern food.”　It is delicious.

でも、たいてい、けんこう（てき）では　ありません。But, usually it is unhealthy.

 たいてい、あげものです。Usually, it is fried food.　

Pork sandwich

ファーストフード　や　ハンバーガー　や　ポークのサンドイッチが　あります。It has Fast Food, hamburgers, and pork sandwiches.

わたしの まち (My Hometown) ーー アミーア

わたしはMartinsville にすんでいます。I live in Martinsville.

 Martinsvilleはちいさいまちです。Martinesville is a small town.

 

でも、たくさんのひとがいます。But, there are many people. すこし　にぎやかです。It is a bit busy.

Martinsvilleに　にほんのレストランがあります。There is a Japanese restaurant.

レストランのなまえは　「やまと」です。The name of the restaurant is "Yamato". 

やまとは　すしバーとひばちがあります。There are sushi-bar and hibachi.

わたしは　やまとが　だいすきです。I like Yamato very much.

hibachi: Originally, "hibachi"is a Japanese heating appliance using charcoal as fuel, but, it is used as a stove to grill food in the US.

いたずら兄弟 (Mischievous Siblings) ーー ジナ

 私と弟はとても　なかがいい友だちみたいです。Me and my little brother are really close friends.

ふたごなので、同じ思いがたくさんあります。Because we are twins, we have many similar thoughts. 

もし、いっしょに、はじめての人々に会ったなら、私とふたごの弟がいたずらをします。 If we meet new people, me and my twin brother prank them.

一番おもしろいいたずらは「いしんでんしん」です。The most interesting prank is called telepathy.

このばあい「いんしんでんしんの事ができる」と言います。 In this case we tell our friends that we can perform telepathy.

たとえば、ともだちが「見せてくれませんか」とたのみます。
Then, for example, our friend asks us suspiciously to show them. 

それで、私は友だちの耳に ちいさいこえで言葉を言って、遠くから、弟は同じ言葉で答えます。  Then while I whisper into my friends ear, from far away, my brother replies the same word.

友だちは とてもびっくりします。 My friend becomes very surprised.

でも、ただのいたずらです。But it's a prank. 

覚えている言葉リストがあったから、とてもおかしいです。
 We memorized a list of words, so it's really funny.

私と弟は「ちょうのうりょくしゃ」みたいです。
